Ingredients
- Salmon fillets (2 pieces, 250 g)
- Tomato (3)
- Potato (2)
- Onion (1)
- Turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Chili powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Green chilies (2–3)
- Salt (to taste)
- Cilantro (for serving)
Method
- First, wash the salmon fillets, rub lightly with turmeric, shallow-fry in oil, and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pot and add chopped onion. When the onion softens, add turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt. Add medium-sized cubed tomato and long potato slices. Stir lightly and add 1 cup water. The potato will soften quickly and the tomato will break down into a coating gravy. Add the fried fish and green chilies and cook 2–3 minutes more.
- Finish with cilantro and serve.
