Canned foods are everywhere in supermarkets these days. Stocking up during quarantine was the smart move — today's recipe uses that canned tuna.

Ingredients
- Canned tuna (1 can — 190 g)
- Mashed potato (1 cup)
- Turmeric powder (1 teaspoon)
- Red chili powder (1 teaspoon)
- Cumin powder (1 teaspoon)
- Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
- Egg (1)
- Green chilies (2–3)
- Cilantro (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Oil (for frying)

Method
- Drain the tuna well from the can and squeeze out excess water. When buying tuna, choose tuna packed in water — oil-packed tuna does not work as well for this chop. Mix the fish with all the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. If the mixture is too stiff, add a little water. If it is too soft, add a small amount of gram flour, rice flour, or all-purpose flour. Shape into small chops and deep-fry over medium heat until golden brown. Do not fry on high heat — the outside will brown too quickly while the inside stays raw. Serve hot.
