Wood Apple Sherbet
Wood apple sherbet is wonderfully cooling in the heat, and it is good for digestion too. Here is a very easy way to make it.

Ingredients
- Wood apple (1)
- Lemon (1)
- Water (500 ml)
- Sugar (to taste)
- Crushed ice (for serving)
Method
- Break open a ripe wood apple and mash the pulp into 250 ml of water. Discard the seeds and fibers. Strain the mixture, then add the remaining 250 ml of water and the juice of 1 lemon. Sweeten with sugar to taste and stir well. Serve ice cold with crushed ice.
